as long as people are stupid enough to keep paying for it, then the 3rd party sellers will keep spamming

also note: these 3rd party sites would not survive if it wasn't for people that farmed/traded these items for them to sell

They spam the messages whenever ecto prices go up at the merchants. In theory (and practice), people are more likely to buy them for real-world money when the price goes above desired price in-game.

Only advice is to /report them, but we all know that doesn't work because they leave the district 1 second after posting message.
